Art, not Porn.

jennkei@gmail.com BioWelcome to the collection of my artistic (somewhat) work. I would be highly honoured if you'd read my stuff and leave what you think about them down. You could search under my tags, if you're particularly looking for some category:- http://livejournal.com/jaycet/tags . These include - semipoems (I quaintly insist on calling my poems this), short stories, letters, seoul (set of seven poems written in same number of days, while I was on a trip to Seoul, Korea), aspects (set of poems discussing each Aspect).
Read on if you'd like to know a little about how this LJ came about. And a short paragraph on myself is right at the bottom.
The title <- Perfectly Pointy -> was something Buffy said, I believe; something I read quoted on one of the HP fics. It reminds me of the time I was defending my writing -
"You should ask Jenn to do it, she's busy writing porn."
"Noo!! This is art, not porn! Porn has no purpose..this has one."
"What, for your viewing pleasure?"
Needless to say, I -hardly- write porn. Really. The only NC-17 one I've done is Worthy/Faithful. *smiles slightly* Though I -do- tend to insinuate stuff, ahem. I've collected some art quotes and put them into the banner; I couldn't figure out how to override stuff sufficiently, (it gave me a blasted headache after one afternoon >.<) but I'm crediting Kelvin Thom for his fantastic photograph, people who said whatever about art that I've stuck onto the photograph, and myself for the overall overrides and slight photo manip.
Jaycet is an expansion of one of the names I write under - jct. (Jay ce t) I wanted to have jayce but it was taken by some guy called Jason (hmm - maybe it's his initials?), as was jct. Taken, not by another Jason, that is.
I like to think of myself as a writer, though truth is, I only started seriously writing about two years ago. A soi disant INFP, I can tend to seem like a loner, often preferring companionship of the computer and of books to going out. Prolly a result of my strict upbringing, though that hasn't affected the instinct to find loopholes in rules ;) I play the piano, and am constantly searching for someone to play duets with. Am rather verbose, too..;)
